To help ensure students completing this training understand professional facial therapy principles and can apply treatments safely and confidently, the course includes both a short knowledge quiz and a practical assessment process. These stages are designed to support learning while helping confirm that students understand consultation, treatment structure, skin knowledge, hygiene standards, and safe professional facial treatment practice. Knowledge Quiz At the end of the course, students will complete a short quiz designed to confirm understanding of the key theoretical concepts covered throughout the training. The quiz focuses on areas including consultation procedures, contraindications, skin analysis, treatment safety, professional treatment structure, product knowledge, and facial therapy principles. Practical Video Assessment The practical assessment allows students to demonstrate their understanding of the treatment structure and apply the techniques taught throughout the course in a safe and professional manner. Students will submit a video demonstrating a complete professional facial treatment, including consultation awareness, cleansing, exfoliation, massage, mask application, finishing products, and overall treatment flow. The assessment has been designed to support realistic learning and does not require highly produced filming. A clear recording showing the treatment being performed and demonstrating your understanding of the treatment structure is sufficient. Assessments may be filmed using a phone, tablet, or camera device, and videos may be submitted in sections if needed to make uploading easier. Suitable Products & Equipment for Assessment Students may use facial products and equipment suitable for their training level and model during assessment. Professional products are always recommended when working on members of the public. However, beginners completing the course for learning purposes may initially use accessible products appropriate for their model’s skin while building confidence and practical experience. A detailed product and equipment guidance section is included within the course to help support treatment setup and product selection.
